Our Briarchase Reunion
“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down upon the collar of his robes.” (Psalm 133:1) NIV
And what a uniquely “pleasant” experience it was! Old friends were reunited and new ones were acquainted! On March 23, 2025, Abiding Faith joined Briarchase Missionary Baptist Church in celebration of their Family and Friends Day at 3:00 P.M.
We call it “unique” because over 34+ years our Pastor stood behind this same (well, perhaps not same); but in this spot as their pastor. But as only God could orchestrate, there was an uncharted path for our Pastor to travel that led to the body of Abiding Faith Baptist Church! Halleluja
The program theme was: “Unity in Christ” (Ephesians 4:3). Unity strengthens relationships, builds community, and honors God. What an appropriate theme because our being there at this appointed time, we believe, strengthened our relationship with our Briarchase family of believers.
Our Pastor’s message was entitled: “To Live so Others Will Believe”. Our Pastor cautioned us to be aware of our witness. Be who we say we are so that those to whom we witness will not only hear what we say; but “see” what we say from our daily walk. Our Mass Choir represented and ministered to us in a powerful way. We praise God for them.
We are thankful for our most gracious host, Pastor Larry & Lady Sharon Grant, and the Briarchase family for the opportunity to “strengthen” the body of Christ through our communing with them. We look forward to other opportunities to glorify God in our fellowship with the Briarchase family.
